Privacy Policy
Short version: we do not track you. The site runs zero analytics, no cookies for tracking, no fingerprinting, and no third-party trackers. If you submit a form (readiness assessment, newsletter signup, lead-magnet page) we collect only what you type into that form and use it only to follow up with you or send the monthly Brief. We never sell, rent, or share your data with anyone.

What we collect
We collect only information you give us voluntarily by submitting a form on this site. The forms are:
- AI Readiness Assessment request — name, company, email, company size, and a free-text description of what you're trying to accomplish.
- Newsletter signup ("The Brief") — email address. Optionally a name.
- Lead-magnet pages (ROI Calculator at
/roi/, 25 Automations Cheat Sheet at/automations/) — email address if you subscribe to the Brief from those pages. - Direct email to [email protected] — whatever you include in your email.
We do not use analytics tools (no Google Analytics, Plausible, Fathom, or equivalents), advertising pixels (no Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Google Ads), or behavioral tracking. We do not set tracking cookies. The one cookie-like mechanism on the site is a localStorage key (2acre-theme) that remembers whether you chose light or dark theme — this never leaves your browser and is not readable by us.
Metadata captured automatically on form submission
When you submit a form, our server receives standard HTTP metadata alongside your form data:
- Your IP address (used for abuse prevention and country detection; not used for ad targeting)
- Country (derived from your IP by Cloudflare)
- User agent (the browser + OS string your browser sends automatically)
- Timestamp of the submission
This metadata is stored alongside your submission in Cloudflare's function logs for up to 30 days. We never tie it to a third-party profile.
How we use your information
- Reply to your inquiry. If you submit the readiness assessment, Marc replies directly within one business day.
- Send the monthly Brief. If you subscribed to The Brief, you receive one email per month with shipped work, a pattern that held up in production, something that broke, a service opening, and one useful link.
- Follow up in a nurture sequence. If you submitted a form, you may receive a small number of follow-up emails (typically no more than three) related to what you asked about. You can unsubscribe from any of them with one click.
- Improve the site. We occasionally review submissions in aggregate (how many per month, which forms, what topics people ask about) to improve the content. We do not individually profile visitors.
How we store your information
Form submissions are delivered via email to [email protected] and logged inside Cloudflare Pages Functions. When we adopt a dedicated mailing list provider (evaluating Loops.so, Kit, Beehiiv, Buttondown as of April 2026) we will update this policy to disclose the sub-processor and its location. At no point is your data shared with any party other than (1) the email-delivery infrastructure (MailChannels, under contract with Cloudflare) and (2) the eventual mailing-list provider once adopted and disclosed here.
Data retention
- Email and form content: retained in Marc's inbox indefinitely unless you request deletion.
- Cloudflare function logs: retained by Cloudflare for up to 30 days.
- Newsletter subscribers: retained as long as you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we remove your email from the active list.
Your rights
You can request at any time:
- Access — a copy of any personal data we hold about you
- Correction — correction of any inaccurate data
- Deletion — complete removal of your data from our systems
- Portability — your data in a machine-readable format
- Objection — you may object to any specific use of your data
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] with the subject line "Privacy request" and specify what you want. We respond within 30 days. You do not need to provide a reason.
For EU / UK subscribers
Under GDPR (EU) and UK GDPR, 2 Acre Studios acts as the data controller. Our legal basis for processing your data is (a) your consent, given when you submit a form, and (b) legitimate interest in responding to your inquiry. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing the address above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority — for the UK, that is the ICO at ico.org.uk; for the EU, it's the supervisory authority in your country.
CAN-SPAM (US)
We comply with the US CAN-SPAM Act. Every marketing email we send includes:
- A clear identification of the sender (2 Acre Studios)
- A physical postal address
- A clear, one-click unsubscribe mechanism
- Accurate subject lines
Unsubscribe requests are honored within 10 business days. You can always unsubscribe directly via the link at the bottom of any email, or by emailing [email protected] with "Unsubscribe" in the subject.
Children
The site and its services are intended for business use. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe we have, email us and we'll remove it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in any material way, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and, for active newsletter subscribers, notify you by email. The current version is always available at 2acrestudios.com/privacy/.
